ACCORD celebrates its 20th Birthday !

Dear Partner,

In June of this year, it will be our 20th year in business and we would like you and your students to join us in our birthday celebrations!

To start off with, we will be giving an initial gift to any student registered to attend via YOUR agency an intensive course (A, B, C, D, E or Business French in small groups), taking place between the 2nd of June and the 28th of November 2008, whatever the duration of the course (one week or several months):

1 cultural activity (*)

Besides the initial gift, we will also be giving another gift to students staying more than 4 weeks (i.e. 5 weeks or more) and registered via your agency:

1 day trip in the Ile-de-France (**)

(*) Examples of cultural activities: a cruise on the Seine, a visit of the Tour Montparnasse, tickets to the interactive show, Paris-Story, theatre and cinema tickets, etc.

(**) Examples of day trips: Vaux-le-Vicomte, Chantilly, Giverny, Auvers-sur-Oise, etc. These day trips are organised for the following dates: 28th June, 26th July, 23rd August, 27th September, 25th October and 29th November 2008. The precise and detailed programme for these trips will be published on the 16th of June 2008. This offer is limited to one day trip per learner.

PLEASE NOTE: These two offers are only available to our agencies’ clients and will not be given to students who have booked direct via our websites!

But that’s not all!

Please, don’t forget to let your students know that during their stay with ACCORD, they will also be able to enter several competitions:

• A monthly competition « About our 20 years »

The prizes will be ‘Virgin Megastore’ Vouchers, and they will be awarded in the school on Prize Giving days.
First Prize: A voucher worth 50 Euros
2nd to 5th prize: A voucher worth 25 Euros for each prize.

• A ‘Photo Challenge’

We are organising a Big Photo Competition based on ACCORD’s 20 years from the 2nd of June to the 31st of October 2008. The competition can only be entered by students attending courses at the school.
Photos: a maximum of 5 photos per student will be entered. These photos will have been taken and handed over during the student’s stay at ACCORD. Photos sent before or after the end of the student’s stay will not be considered.
The prizes, awarded to the students chosen for the originality and quality of their photos, will be as follows:

First Prize
1 week in Intensive Course ‘A’ with accommodation in a hosting family
(in a private room, including breakfast), plus 3 cultural activities.
A stay worth 605 Euros!

Second Prize
2 weeks in Intensive Course ‘A’, plus 3 cultural activities worth 540 Euros

Third Prize
1 week in Intensive Course ‘A’ and 1 cultural activity worth 305 Euros

PLEASE NOTE:
Students will be able to enjoy their prizes up till the end of 2008 and for the whole of 2009!

• A ‘Video Challenge’: « Summer’s Biggest Challenge »

This competition will take place from the 30th June to the 25th of July 2008. Students will give the competition’s judging panel a video recorded during their stay between the 30th of June and the 25th of July. The theme will be ACCORD school, its atmosphere and environment, or anything different and unusual the student finds about Paris and which may be connected to ACCORD’ s 20 years.

The prizes, awarded to the students chosen for the originality and quality of their videos, will be as follows:

First Prize
2 weeks in Intensive Course ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ (student’s choice) with accommodation in a hosting family (in a private room, including breakfast).
A stay worth from 1.140 Euros (Course 'C') to 1,070 Euros (Course 'A')

Second Prize
1 week in Intensive Course ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ (student’s choice) with accommodation in a hosting family (in a private room, including breakfast).
A stay worth from 620 Euros (Course 'C') to 575 Euros (Course 'A')

Third Prize
2 weeks in Intensive Course ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ (student’s choice)
A stay worth from 580 Euros (Course 'C') to 510 Euros (Course 'A')

PLEASE NOTE:
Students will be able to enjoy their prizes up till the end of 2008 and for the whole of 2009!

• A competition especially for Juniors!
The competition will take place from the 29th of June to the 23rd of August 2008. Juniors, who enter the competition, will be asked to produce a text, a creative design or a photo on a theme which will be displayed at the school on their arrival. Many prizes (books, t-shirts, etc.) will be awarded every two weeks!
